It is all systems go as the Sarawak Government get set to host its International Energy Week (IEW) 09 from 3-5 November 2009 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching. The IEW 09 will in-corporate 2 international Expos - the PetroleumAsia 09 and the ElectroPower 09, an International Conference, business matching & networking meetings and post event tours. The IEW 09 is held to support the Government's efforts in making Sarawak into a major regional energy & petroleum production
hub and to open up the vast opportunities in the petroleum and power industries.

Over 3,000 delegates, trade buyers and investors from across the region are expected to descend into Kuching to view the latest in power and petroleum technology and services, explore business partnerships, generate business & investment opportunities and get up to speed on the development in the Sarawak Corridor on Renewable Energy (SCORE).

Some 150 exhibitors including market leaders such as Sarawak Energy Bhd, Petronas, Sarawak Hidro, Tenaga Nasional Bhd, Leader Universal Holdings Berhad, FEC Cables, Sarawak Shell Berhad, Brooke Dockyard, Nippon Oil Exploration, PetroVietnam, SapuraCrest Petroleum Berhad many others have signed up for the Expo to showcase their latest advances and innovations.
