Persatuan Industri Kecil Dan Serderhana Malaysia (SMI Association of Malaysia) was established in July 1995. It is trade organisation with a prome objective of promoting the interests of the small and medium scale industries in Malaysia.
VISION
- To transform SMIs into an economic powerhouse of the country by the year 2020
MISSION
- To instil and eventually ingrain deeply the concept of "learnning organisation" as a culture of SMIs and be export-orientated.
- To advocate the interests and needs of the small and medium scale industries in Malaysia
- To help promote and develop SMIs in Malaysia
- To ogranise SMIs into a more cohensive group with a greater voice
- To improve the efficiency, effectiveness, productivity and performance of SMIs through a series of well planned resources development programmes and road shows.
