The directory is a compilation that caters to SMEs who want to benefit from precise information such as the latest trend in management of telecommunications, logistics, insurance, IT development and much more.
First published in 2002, the SMIBD marks a milestone in the collaboration between the 2 partners in continuing to play an important role in the development of SMEs in Malaysia. It also complements the Government’s effort in disseminating relevant information to SMEs by highlighting the various major initiatives and guidelines on getting incentives, funding and credit facilities, so that informed SMEs can strategise to grow and upgrade themselves.
With the current economic climate, SMIBD serves as an invaluable source of reference for SMEs who wants to remain successful by seeking information proactively to facilitate good business decision making. Through the digital portal www.smibusinessdirectory.com.my local SMEs can further establish extensive networking and build business linkages, locally and globally.
As the directory contains a comprehensive listing of SMIA members, it also serves as a platform for SMEs as well as companies that provide solutions to SMEs to promote and advertise their products and services.
With the strong support from the Government and the private sectors, SMIBD will continue to innovate and serve the needs of the SMEs to reach for greater heights and success.
