Global exports in 2008 grew 15.6% to US$ 16.13 trillion from US$13.89 trillion in 2007.
Collectively, the top 10 leading exporting nations accounted for 50.6% of global exports in
2008. Malaysia was ranked 21st largest exporter in 2008 with US$200 billion falling from
the 19th position in 2007.
