The Company was incorporated in 1995 under the name of Bestwide Matrix Sdn. Bhd., before joining the folds of Kencana Petroleum in 2005, and changed its name to Kencana Bestwide Sdn. Bhd. Kencana Pinewell, a subsidiary of Kencana Petroleum, has established itself as a provider for Offshore & Onshore Construction Support Services, Hook-up, Commissioning, Maintenance & De-commissioning.
Our scope covers Project Management, Engineering, Fabrication, Marine Spread, Logistic Support and specialized skill manpower and equipment.
To ensure maximum benefits to our clients, our services are executed on an integrated basis with our other sister companies under the Kencana Petroleum Berhad group of companies, resulting in operations competency, reduced overheads and faster project spin.

KPV provides offshore drilling services and operates Offshore Support Vessels through its subsidiaries to cater to the needs and requirements of the players in the oil and gas industry worldwide. To date, KPV has invested in and operates several marine assets that include Tender Assisted Drilling Rig and Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels. |

| Kencana HL’s Shipbuilding Division, specializes in the fields of shipbuilding, ship repair, conversion, maintenance and refurbishment.
Kencana HL has plan to develop and expand the Shipbuilding Division with the objective to improve its specialist and engineering capacity and carry out more complex operations. To this date, we have a wide variety of projects built in our fabrication yard which include Nebula Pipe Lay Barge, conversion of Jack-up Rig to mobile offshore production units, Self-erected Tender Rig and Derrick Equipment (KM-1), etc. Kencana HL is focused on offering its clients the highest level of service and to consistently improve on its quality and level of workmanship. |

| Kencana HL offers complete subsea fabrication solutions extend to high pressure testing and NAS 6 chemical flushing as one stop center in Asia Pacific. Our complete facility, subsea capital equipment and experienced resources allow for extensive integration testing and proving prior to the template load out from the fabrication yard.
Kencana HL has delivered more than 45 subsea structures to diversified renowned subsea vendor i.e. Aker Solutions, Cameron Limited and FMC Technologies. For example, Krishna Godavari D6 (KG-D6) was one of the world’s largest subsea contracts, which is operating at 2,000 meters water depth off the coast of India. |
